About Rajan
Rajan was born in Kathmandu and played as a batsman for a departmental side in Nepal's national championship in the 2000s. After his playing days he earned a coaching licence and worked with youth teams in Pokhara.
He followed Nepal's climb through the lower divisions of ICC cricket first-hand and saw how ODI status in 2018 changed the way the country thinks about the game. He knows the TU Ground in Kirtipur well, including how the weather in the valley changes the way it plays.
At Cricket Pulse he writes about the Nepal national team, World Cup qualifying campaigns and series against other Associate nations.
